Well, here we are. Another year over, ready for a fresh start and continued growth for Everything Digital!
Christmas Culture At Everything Digital
Like many agencies out there, the Christmas season is one of our favourite times of the year!
Christmas really is the time that we can officially let our hair down, relax, and enjoy the festivities. It’s a time where we can be together as a group, engage with each other, and grow our in-house relationships.
Ultimately, to sit back and be proud of what we’ve achieved throughout the year!
We start December off by decorating our office and putting our Christmas tree up as a team, creating a cosy, festive atmosphere.
Patiently waiting to see who we get for secret Santa, we draw our names and begin shopping for a member of our team. This really helps us bond, especially with members of the team we don’t see or speak to on a regular basis.

The week before our Christmas break, the whole team comes together and we have a well deserved day out!
This year’s festivities begin with sitting around the Christmas tree and presenting our secret Santa gifts (some good, some bad) – then heading out for a HUGE all you can eat meal, where we’ll definitely get our money’s worth.
Surely that’s it, you ask?
Nope, we’re not done yet!
Last year’s Christmas party was a HUGE hit with our team, so after our bellies are full, we’ll head to a gaming bar where we’ll continue to have fun, laugh, and strengthen our working relationships.

What’s your favourite Christmas movie and why?
Home Alone. It’s an obvious one but it came out in the 90’s when I was in my young, childhood years and it’s got such a nostalgic feeling for me.
What’s your favourite Christmas food or dessert?
STUFFING. My mum makes a sausage, chestnut, and sage stuffing every year and it BANGS! Oh, and as a bonus dish, I love Christmas pudding (cue the haters.)
What’s your favourite Christmas drink?
Baileys. It’s an adult milkshake. Gimme.
What’s been your highlight of 2023?
FINALLY moving into our new house where we have enough space for everything our 4 person family owns!
What’s been your work highlight of 2023?
Refocusing at the start of the year and becoming a more specialised eCommerce agency. There are too many agencies out there who claim to understand online retailers but proof says they absolutely don’t! So we wanted to turn our focus on being specialists and that’s exactly what we’ve done!
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Rockin around the Christmas tree. However, I love belting out Mariah Carey – All I Want For Christmas as well.
What’s your favourite Christmas tradition and why?
Every year on Christmas Eve, my sisters and I meet up and do something together. Whether we go for some lunch, or go for drinks, or even set up a gaming tournament where i unforgivingly beat them at everything, we do it every year.

What’s your favourite Christmas movie and why?
The Godfather Part One (yes, it came out over the Xmas period many many years ago and reminds me of all my family sitting down together late at night drinking red wine.)
What’s your favourite Christmas food or dessert?
My dad’s chocolate mousse.
What’s your favourite Christmas drink?
Sloe gin.
What’s been your highlight of 2023?
Highlight of 2023 has been visiting Old Trafford many times to watch the once mighty Manchester United.
What’s been your work highlight of 2023?
My work highlight has been implementing strategies for Rollersnakes with the growth team at Google and our Paid Ads teams.
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Frosty The Snowman by The Ronettes.
What’s your favourite Christmas tradition and why?
My Christmas tradition is visiting my mum’s hometown and Church in Glasgow, whilst also having plenty to drink with family over the holidays.

I’ve asked Santa this year for a few things and telling you wouldn’t be right!
Jordan Gatenby | Head Of Google Ads
What’s your favourite Christmas movie and why?
Die Hard, (there might be a debate whether it’s actually a Christmas film, in my opinion it is) but it’s one of my favourite films!
What’s your favourite Christmas food or dessert?
Pigs in blankets, anyone who disagrees is lying.
What’s your favourite Christmas drink?
You can’t beat Baileys over Christmas!
What’s been your highlight of 2023?
Too many to choose from! I got to see The 1975 (again) and Peter Kay (finally) so I’d go with one of those, both were absolutely brilliant.
What’s been your work highlight of 2023?
Helping to grow Everything Digital even further – and also playing part in growing and scaling a number of our new clients – it’s what we do!
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Fairytale of New York! RIP Shane MacGowan.
What’s your favourite Christmas tradition and why?
As you get older you don’t see certain friends/family as much, so Christmas for me is about catching up with them and having a few well earned drinks!

The Boro to be promoted, that is all.

What’s your favourite Christmas movie and why?
Definitely Christmas with the Kranks. It’s such a funny, feel good, family Christmas movie – plus, Jamie Lee Curtis stars in it, need I say more?!
What’s your favourite Christmas food or dessert?
Anything cheese. My favourite part of Christmas day is when the cheeseboard comes out, especially a Camembert! I do have a soft spot for prawn cocktails too.
What’s your favourite Christmas drink?
Has to be hot chocolate or a jagerbomb.
What’s been your highlight of 2023?
With so many trips, days out, and holidays abroad – 2023 has been a fantastic year for me! But, the BEST day, no questions asked, had to be On The Beach at Brighton to see Noel Gallagher for the second time – I luckily got to stand on the pit barrier at the front of the stage so I could basically see up his nose!
What’s been your work highlight of 2023?
Definitely the drive to Alton Towers, if you know, you know. Or, when Hollie fell off her chair trying to open the window.
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
Merry Xmas Everybody by Slade has ALWAYS been my all time favourite!
What’s your favourite Christmas tradition and why?
Every year since I can remember, on Christmas Eve, my gran hosts a party where all of our family and friends get together, drink, and eat good food. Then, at 8pm on the dot, Santa comes early to drop off our Christmas Eve pyjamas and we have hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie.
What have you asked Santa for?
I’m travelling to Barbados in May 2024 so I’ve asked for money towards my trip! Oh, and a cherry red bag.

Dublin – I went in Jan with my flatmate and we had so much fun! And so many gigs and festivals!

Starting this job in March! Meeting everyone on the team and actually enjoying my job now!

Albeit in 2022 but I’m still carrying on with the joy of moving out and living by myself.
